Keep On Truckin'

Well, it's October and I've only just started working on my challenge fic. It's okay, because I've got the planning down, just need to actually write it.
I feel like I'm definitely going to be late, and you know what, that's okay. It's better than not writing at all. Plus, I technically have until November 12th to post, which means I technically can write until up to November 11th so, yeah, another full month for 5000 words? I think I can swing it. Especially if I keep to my schedule of fully working 4 hours every day. (By fully working I mean I have a timer, so bathroom breaks, lunch/dinner, chores, none of it count. So it usually take me like 6-7 hours to do '4' hours of work, you know, like a typical workday for people with traditional jobs.) Plus, I'm not just working on a fanfic, I'm basically taking a coding class for a quarter, plus all of my medical issues that I will have to take into account. So yeah, my plate is pretty full at the moment, and when it comes down to it, it's fanfic. It really doesn't matter on the grand scheme of things.
I am going to join NaNoWriMo again this year, like every year, and like every year I'm not going to try to drum out 50k words, just whatever I can. I'm hoping I can finish this fanfic and then I can focus solely on the novel next month, but that may just be a pipe dream haha. Oh well. Maybe I won't even have a NaNoWriMo goal, just keep the usual goals and consolidate that? I'm not sure. But I will go to the website and get those yearly NaNoWriMo banners to make into an icon. It's a tradition on this journal at this point.
