Writing Fail
December 12th, 2022 17:41Hello guys. Hoo boy, did I fail with writing in November. To be fair, I had some health crisis, but you know, with my health nowadays every other month is like a health crisis, so I really should've planned better and worked around it. Otherwise I will never get anything done.
I mostly am posting because today, I am actually going to try to write that fanfic that I failed to finish in the past few months. Yep. I owe it to someone for the challenge and dammit, I'm going to finish writing it one way or another. I just want it to be good, you know, and my standard for "good" is a lot higher than the "everybody could tell someone drummed out 5k words in two days" bar. I really don't want to do that - want to take my time. But I think the point is to just write every day. I have to; otherwise I feel like the muscle really just deteriorates, you know?
Unfortunately I have forgotten a lot of my plot, but luckily I wrote down a pretty detailed outline beforehand so I believe I could keep going. I'm also thinking of planning for my other writing pursuits, because I want to write those, too. But those should be talked about on other blogs. This is dedicated to nerdy crap like fanfic! And games! Speaking of, I'm going to start playing Disco Elysium soon. Got it for a really good price at the Steam sale, and since I've heard people rave about this game for, um, three years already? Perhaps it really is time to give it a good go.
