I like the differentiation between the two, although I've never seen it put in words before. I'm glad you're feeling rejuvenated haha and it's wonderful you're seeing it through the lens of "first in a long line."
You're definitely not too old — these days people do all sorts of things even in their 90s. Not to be too cheesy about it but the milestones you celebrate are only fun if you're also enjoying the process.
