It's NaNo Time!

Yeppers guys, it's that time of year again! I wish I could say "wow, this year has gone so quickly!" but, uh, yeah, no. This year has been ridiculously slow. I'm hoping November will feel like that too, because that would mean I have plenty of time to write my novel, see? Every day feels like an eternity - at least then I'll feel like NaNoWriMo is giving me plenty of time to write, too.

Well don't mean to be such a downer about things. I had a pretty busy day but managed to write something at the 11th hour, literally. It's only about 600 words but you know, my goals for NaNos are never the 50k but the motivation and drive to write every day in the first place. If I achieved that then I consider myself a "winner" even though I didn't technically win. I think it's fine because my goal this year was to finish a good chunk of my novel - not aiming for 100% but at least 80%. However, pandemic and a slew of other things threw a wrench into that plan. That's life I guess. Well, anyways, it's NaNo, and I made myself look and even work on my novel which I haven't touched in quite a while - again due to some serious life issues that I don't want to talk about right now, but maybe I'll get into later. Maybe. I want this to be a fun, stress-free zone, so not sure I want to dump all my actual toils of life here. (I have another blog for that but shhh it's another secret one). So I'll just keep this one simple. 

It's NaNo. I actually started on time. All in all that's an accomplishment and I'm happy about it.
